Sweet Charity, the Broadway musical featuring actress Christina Applegate, is using CAMCO Vortex amps. The company recently placed the Turbosound Aspect Series speaker system (featuring nine ground-stacked bass, two hangs of three flown mid/high cabinets per side, TA-890H mid/high and TA-890 L bass enclosures) at the Mohave tent for the Coachella music festival. Says company founder Dave Rat, “Having increased control over the horizontal coverage allowed us to keep more of the sound off the side walls of the tent. As you moved toward the back of the tent, you got more direct sound and fewer reflections.”
